Kiro SDLC Toolkit
A set of installable Kiro entities that put Agentic AI Across the Software Development Lifecycle into practice: five Powers covering the Discovery phase and end-to-end verification, two always-on Steering files, and setup instructions for an optional sandbox gate Hook and observability MCP server.
Install
Paste this into a Kiro chat. Kiro fetches everything it needs over HTTPS and installs it directly into your workspace.
Install the agentic toolkit from https://www.bogdanvarlamov.com/kiro-sdlc-toolkit/install.md.
Kiro installs the five Powers and two Steering files, then runs the two optional entities' own setup instructions to detect whether they apply to your project.
Installing manually
Optional: point Kiro at individual artifacts instead
Powers — open the Kiro Powers panel, choose Add Custom Power → Local Directory (or paste the raw URL), and point it at:
powers/problem-interrogator/POWER.mdpowers/product-owner/POWER.mdpowers/prior-art-researcher/POWER.mdpowers/user-journey-mapper/POWER.mdpowers/journey-e2e-verifier/POWER.md
Steering files — copy these into <workspace>/.kiro/steering/:
Optional entities — these depend on your project, so ask Kiro to follow the setup instructions directly rather than copying a static file:
setup-instructions/sandbox-gate-hook-setup.mdwrites a Hook only if your project has a deployable environment.setup-instructions/observability-mcp-server-setup.mdwrites an MCP server entry only if your project uses AWS CloudWatch, Datadog, or Sentry.
